The Purpose of this Website
IDTheft-Prevent-and-Restore.com was created to provide you with all the
information you need to protect yourself from identity theft. If you are one of
the 10 million victims, I’ll give you tips to get your identity restored and
your life back on track. .
Our Story
Back
in 2000, my grandma had her identity stolen. She lost over $2,100 and we spent
hours and hours getting her life back together. To make a long story short, I
was pretty upset about the whole thing, and it made me anxious about my own
identity and credit. For the past several years I took the time to learn all I
could about this crime and prevent it from happening to me. Before you
know it the knowledge I learned I began sharing with my family and friends.
Next I was telling my acquaintances. Now I figured I’d just create a website so
I can tell even more people. Essentially I became an identity theft nerd.
What’s the Catch?
Although I will recommend a
particular identity theft prevention and restoration service on this site, you
don’t have to worry about me selling you like all the other sites out there. I
have loaded this site with a ton of information you can use. It started small,
and I really enjoyed putting it together so I kept adding more and more info.
I hope you enjoy my content, and learn what you need to do to protect yourself.
Don’t forget to contact us
Since I put this site together, I have (to my surprise) received a ton of emails
from people asking about identity theft issues. If you have a question or
concern, please let me know. There are plenty of “contact us” forms for you throughout this site.
